I am immensely proud to have been a Labour councillor for the Stocksbridge and Upper Don ward for the last four years, representing the ward in which I have lived my entire life and for which I care deeply. My core beliefs are rooted in fairness, social justice and equality of opportunity.

I am currently a member of the Safer and Stronger Communities Scrutiny panel and Chair of the North Local Area Partnership as well as serving on Stocksbridge Town Council, raising local issues and working on solutions.

I look forward to continuing to deliver for our city, our communities and our residents.

I joined the Labour Party as someone who is a passionate supporter of the public sector and social justice. I am member of Stocksbridge Town Council where I work with local groups on many important issues including planning, transport, health and support for young and vulnerable people. As your city councillor  I would continue to work  hard within our local communities  and with  individuals on matters of  local importance. I will promote and support the Stocksbridge & Upper Don ward at City Council Level.

I have lived in Deepcar for over 30 years and, having served as a Sheffield City Councillor for the area between 2011 and 2015, I care deeply about the local community and its residents. During my time as a Councillor I was very active within the ward, working with community groups, serving as a school governor and liaising with services within the ward in order to ensure they are meeting the needs of residents effectively.

I look forward to continuing to work with and for the people of the Stocksbridge and Upper Don ward in the future.
