PCC 2016 - Alan Billings

Billings_portrait_2.jpgPolice and Crime Commissioner for South Yorkshire Election, 5 MAY 2016

We’re backing ALAN BILLINGS.

Alan made tough promises in 2014 about putting victims first, neighbourhood policing and police efficiency, and he kept them. He’s proved he has the experience, judgement and commitment to do the job.

Now Alan has promised to:

  • maintain neighbourhood policing, despite the government cuts

  • keep the number of Police and Community Support Officers working locally

  • continue to improve police efficiency and effectiveness

  • deliver a new 101 call system which is fit for purpose

  • support local groups that help victims or work to cut anti-social behaviour and crime

Find out more about his track record and his 2016 promises here.

Billings has failed to hold SY Police to account over Hillsborough and we should not be supporting him. You have opened the door to others by failing to suggest a worthy candidate.
